Marguerite d'Cheneau has been active in the SCA since 2017 with a focus on sewing/garb and clothing, specifically the clothing of Renaissance England and Italy. She has been the Seneschal of the Barony of Storvik since 2018 and previously served as Storvik's Deputy Webminister. Mundanely, she is a professional actress with credits in local and regional theatre (Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Folger Shakespeare Theatre, Studio Theatre, Brave Spirits Theatre, 4615 Theatre Company, Maryland Renaissance Festival). She is a company member with 4615 Theatre Company and a teaching artist at the Studio Acting Conservatory. She is also a professional software developer and spent the early years of her professional career handling videos and tech for a Congressional Committee - skills that became surprisingly relevant to her SCA life when we made the move to the virtual space!
